Sunday, 3 August is our planned departure date, and then our journey will start! First stop will be Chris’ mom’s house in the Burgundy region of France. We have a lot to look forward but also really hope to savour each step along the way and really “be in the moment.”
Elsa and I encountered all kinds of hiccups and difficulties in our trip with the moving truck and we also learned to take it one step at a time.
And as our friend Kim wrote on a card before we left–
